ICA meetings are held every Thursday at 5pm in Swordfish 324 (located in the University Center)

{ICA Officer Position Open- "Coordinator of Events"}

Application Instructions:

1. Must login to orgsync via tamucc.orgsync.com 2. Click "Login to Orgsync" and login with your Island ID  3. In the search bar at the top of the homepage type in "ICA"  4. If you have not joined ICA please click "Join Now"  5. Once you have joined click "Forms" in the toolbar  6. Find the "ICA Coordinator of Events application"  7. Click "Begin Form"

Officer Requirements:

Have and maintain at least a 3.0 overall grade point average

Be in good standing at the university

Be enrolled in at least twelve credit hours (undergraduate) or nine credit hours (graduate) during term in office

Be a member of ICA in good standing for at least one semester prior to applying for office

Maintain ICA office as sole major departmental leadership position on campus

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Islander Cultural Alliance (ICA), there are two steps in the application process. One step is submitting an application, which can be found on ICA's Orgsync page under forms. Please complete this form by September 11th, 2015. The other step is attending an informational.

Informational Dates are:

September 9th at 4pm location TBD

September 10th at 12:30pm location TBD

After completing both steps the Leadership Council of ICA will meet to review applicants.  New members will be notified by September 21st, and initiated on September 24th at 5pm in UC Swordfish 324.

 {Passport to the Island 2015}

Orientation 2015

Date: Various days and times

Location: University Center

Time: 12pm - 1:30pm

 

Passport to the Island is taken place during orientation. Passport to the Island is a way of welcoming incoming freshman to the campus. New students get to meet various organizations on campus such as greek life, Student Government, Islander Cultural Alliance, the Campus Activities Board, and many more.


      



Mission and Purpose


The purpose of the ICA will be to unify the multicultural presence on campus represented by a diverse student population.  Inclusion will signify a unified multicultural atmosphere and participating organizations would be expected to support each other in individual club endeavors.
